Chingford League Relays - Highams Park - 12/03/2011

End of the cross country season so we finish off with a relay race. Always a good atmosphere and the sun made an appearance so it was vests and shorts all round.

The course was 2 miles around the park, reasonable surface so no need for spikes, trail shoes were fine. I had been picked to do the last leg.

Difficult to know what pace to run at as this was shorter than a 5Km race, and I consider this too short. Therefore, I just went off fast and at a pace I thought I could maintained.

I really enjoyed and  surprised at my time of 15:06 that 7:21 pace.
