I started running in Feb 2008. Still not 100% sure why I started seemed like a good idea at the time. I had always said "I hate running" and "I am never going to do that"
My kids had been running for years and I guess I got bored of driving them around and then still around waiting for them and felt if I pulled on my trainers I could run around instead of hanging around and I might get fit at the same time.
After some initial ups and downs I was hooked.
I am now a member of Trent Park Running Club along with my kids. I regularly do there 5Km handicap as well as other races along the way.
